Possibly...: Yes, this could be associated with gallstones especially if accompanied by abdominal pain. Other possibilities include: gastritis, acid reflux, pancreatic issues. Even though you are in your late 40s if you still have your periods pregnancy can be causing symptoms as well. These are just common possibilities and other issues can be associated.
