Probably yes.: But your symptoms don't seem all that severe. Consult your surgeon or GI specialist for specific recommendation regarding further treatment, including cholecystectomy.

Maybe, maybe not: Would need more information. Where is your pain? Have you had blood tests done? Review your history and findings with your doctor who ordered the ultrasound. You may need a special gallbladder scan (hida scan) to see if your gallbladder is functioning properly. In the mean time eat properly and healthy, avoid fatty foods, drink plenty of water.

Sludge in GB: Sludge in the gallbladder is a very common ultrasound finding. It may be related to the timing of your last meal or even your diet. It is important to know if the wall thickness of your gall bladder was normal on the ultrasound. Your doctor may consider ordering a gall bladder ejection fraction study which is a nuclear scan.
