Dermatology: Probably best to consult with a board certified dermatologist. Collagen injections into the scar with dermabrasion or cortisone injections to thin the scar tissue: I would advise a dermatology consultation or platic surgery opinion.

Scar treatment: There are a number of different options for scar treatments, but it depends on the location of the scar - the skin or around the implant itself. If you’re breasts are soft, then there is nothing to do other than continue to follow up with your surgeon. If there is excessive scarring at the incision, then there are options to help improve this through specific ointments, dressings or injections.

Return to surgeon: The surgeon who did the implants will be experienced with complications. She will treat you or refer you to someone who can help. The DR who did the procedure is responsible for the results.
