Two years: Scar revisions are best done when scars mature which means the healing process has reached a steady state. It takes usually 1 to2 years. However, if your scars are hyper pigmented, it may this is how your body heals. Each scar revision sets the clock back and you may even have worse scars. You could use lightening creams or other scar treatments to improve scars.
