I was diagnosed with macrolipasemia (fluctuating high lipase numbers) without pathological findings (ct, mrcp) or symptoms (no pain, nausea, vomiting). i rarely drink. is it safe to drink 1 or 2 beers?

Avoid if possible: Your elevated lipase, seems to be somewhat of a mystery and it seems that you have some concern about further possible injury to your pancreas by using alcohol. While one or 2 beers is typically benign, given your mysterious lipase elevation, I would avoid it until the reason for your elevated lipase is determined. Follow up with your gastroenterologist, he will have the best in info about this
