Labs are not perfect: Minor lipase elevations aren't necessarily worrisome. Normal ranges for tests only cover 95% of a typical population. If there are no symptoms & advanced pancreas imaging show no concern for cancer, then there's not likely anything more to be done now. Close follow-up with a GI doc is recommended. Be careful of excessive testing to allay worry, as this can lead to risky & unneeded procedures.

Serum lipase : Elevations in serum lipase can be caused by medication, intermittent gall bladder obstruction or slow emptying of the gall bladder, alcohol excess, pregnancy, testosterone or steroid therapies. Asymptomatic pancreatitis also causes elevations of lipase and amylase. I would have your clinician review all of your medications, and your cholesterol and triglyceride levels which can elevate lipase.
