Yes, it is OK: The recommended adult oral dosage of Zofran (ondansetron) is 24 mg given as three 8-mg tablets or 4-8 mg 3X/day as needed. Not to exceed 24mg in 24 hours. It is always prudent to discuss side effects and risks with your physician. Good luck.
