A member asked:

Is there anything to relieve nausea from flagyl? zofran (ondansetron) doesn't seem to be helping.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nausea from meds: Controlling nausea can sometimes be a challenge. This side effect is very well known from flagyl. Upping the dose of the zofran may help, or your doc can try a different antiemetic such as reglan (metoclopramide) or compazine (prochlorperazine). My personal favorite is ginger-- usually I will eat 2 slices of the crystallized stuff or make a ginger tea by boiling a chunk of root for 10 min then adding honey to taste
