If you had polyps last time you had a colonoscopy does than mean it's expected to continue the same.

There are higher odd: Some people are more prone to form polyps. So if you have had the polyps removed before, you are considered higher risk for more polyps and advised to undergo colonoscopy in 5 years, as opposed to 10 years for someone who did not have any polyps in their first colonoscopy.
