Confused about...: What? 12.8 is normal for hemoglobin. Was it much higher before, and dropped? That would be a concern, but not a 12.8 by itself.

Sounds normal: If your concern is a slightly low hemoglobin, 12.8 is still within normal range, and I am not sure you need to be very concerned. There are many benign causes of anemia, not related to the stomach or colon, like thalassemia. Questions for your doctor. What is causing my anemia? Is it iron deficiency? If it is iron deficiency, should I have a capsule endoscopy done since EGD/Colonoscopy normal?

If it were your own choice, would you decide on a sessile colon polyp (maybe precancerous) be removed by an oncology surgeon or by another that is experienced in Endoscopy Mucosal Resection? (Gastro MD did colonoscopy but decided not to remove)?
Normal iron levels however hgb is low 13.6. What this mean? Bening colon polyps removed. Diverticulosis diagnosed from most recent colonoscopy.
Had 3 positive FIT tests. Had a colonoscopy which showed tiny benign polyp and internal/external hemmeroids. CBC normal. Hemaquant test 2 years ago also normal. Gastro suggested doing pill endoscopy to look at small bowel. overly conservative???
