Diagnosed with strep throat two days ago and given azithromycin. she has taken two of the doses and is still showing all symptoms including fever.

Strep throat : With persistent fever and worsening condition despite two days of antibiotics warrants a re-evaluation by your physician . Make sure you are not coming down with infectious mononucleosis! You may have a viral illness along with this. Continue supportive measures , hydration, fever control, good nutrients , bed rest and finish up the antibiotics and get checked again.
