Tuberculosis: Question is not entirely clear. It sounds like a diagnosis of tubercular pleuritis (an infection involving the potential space between the layers of tissue surrounding and protecting the lungs), and have been treated. You should do extremely well, assuming that you do not have a multi-resistant strain of TB. Problems with your period would not be uncommon with infections and treatment.
