Ask!: If you are concerned about receeding gums, it is important you voice those concerns to your dental provider. Your dentist may not have seen anything clinically, or if you have been going to the same dentist for a while, he or she may not have noticed any changes, and that could explain why it was not mentioned. However, if you are worried, dont be afraid to ask about it. :)

Gum recession: Did you express your concerns to your Dentist? If not, go see him/her again to discuss your gum recession. Referral to a Periodontist, a gum specialist, may be wise.
