Gum : Gum recession happens in people who have good oral hygiene mainly because of abrasive brushing. Some of the reasons may be because you have genetically thinner gum tissue which is more predisposed especially when one uses a hard brushing technique. Also more abrasive toothpastes such as whitening ones can also contribute. In summary, i d recommend using ultrasoft brush and a rotating pattern of brushing. Stay away from toothpastes with abrasive ingredients. In addition have a check up with your dentist and if it still progresses definitely have a consult with a periodontist.
