Too close in time: You should talk to your doctor for any direct advice or orders on dosing your medication. However, 90 minutes between doses of tramadol is far too little time per manufacturer's recommendations. You need to get some help tweaking your pain regimen with your doc.

Yes, you can: The maximum dose for Tramadol is 400mg. After titration, tramadol may be administered in doses of 50 mg to 100 mg every 4–6 hours as required for pain relief up to a daily maximum of 400 mg Rec.: see your prescribing physician for more information and instructions.
