No longer mild: The pain pattern is critical in establishing the diagnosis, before or after meals, periods of high stress, etc. How was your diagnosis made? In case you did not have an upper endoscopy, you might need one. Would recommend that you keep a log with the type of food/ drinks that you ingest and the timing/character of your pain and bring it to your follow-up visit.
