What are your options for persistant gastritis on egd for over a year if no PPIs, diet changes or carafate work? Dont drink alcohol or use ibuprofen
EGD showed moderately severe gastritis and duodenitis with erosions.Biopsies negative for H.P. Been taking PPIs for 2 weeks and added carafate last Friday. Still get acid taste in mouth, even on empty stomach. How long does it take to heal stomach?
