A member asked:

Positive ana (1.8) and multiple nuclear dots...what does this mean and what are any possible diagnoses?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Most likely nothing: an ANA 1:8 is probably something that you would find in a large part of the population on a regular basis and most of the time means absolutely nothing. Guessing, but it probably shouldn't have been sent to begin with.
