A member asked:

Ana positive 1.80 speckled, what does that mean?

Often nothing: The ANA is not very specific. It can be positive in numerous diseases including viral diseases. It can also be positive in individuals without any disease. The ANA needs to be interpreted in the clinical setting to be properly evaluated. An ANA of only 1:80 is borderline at most.

Indeterminate: Really depends on what your other symptoms are. That is a weak positive result for ana. Must be interpreted in light of the other clinical features that are going on.
