Consider auto-immune: This condition should be evaluated by an ophthalmologist as that seems fairly extreme for an environmental eye irritation. It is possible that the condition could have another cause such as auto-immune (your body attacking certain parts of the eye) which may be why the Medrol (methylprednisolone) is effective as it is an immune suppressant( immuno-therapy) and powerful anti-inflammatory.
