Do you see less side effects with a 4mg medrol (methylprednisolone) dose pack? i just started today and all the side effects seem scary.

Should be a reason.: As a rheumatologist, I have never prescribed a dose pack. Prefer sliding scale of presnisone, wh ich causes slightly less fluid retention. However, the "scary" side -effects listed are very unlikely by any stretch. I'm always concerned about the "bandaid" use of cortisone, but i can't be that negative, not knowing the reason it was given to you. I would not worry!
