Be careful: To much steroid over too long a time is not good for you (thus your question). I would personally limit it to no more than once every 12 weeks.

If you are: Not seeing a headache or migraine specialist, you may want to consider this if you are having persistent migraines requiring medrol (methylprednisolone).
