Kyphotic spine : Unlike postural kyphosis, patients with scheuermann's disease cannot adjust their posture. The patient becomes bent over (kyphotic) from uneven growth of the vertebral bodies in the thoracic spine. The treatments include exercises, therapy, bracing and surgery. See a spine surgeon who specializes in adult deformity problems.
