See doc for backpain: Back pain is an extremely common complaint and has many causes. Your scoliosis may not be the cause of your back pain, so you should see your regular doctor for evaluation and possible referral to an orthopedic surgeon or physical therapist. Most likely it is a non-surgical problem and can be treated with nsaids and a good physical therapist who can give you a home exercise program to help recover.

Be seen: A thorough exam and appropriate studies will likely reveal the cause of your scoliosis and appropriate treatment options. The pain you are having may or may not be related to your scoliosis.
