1-2 grams/kg: Average would be one gram of protein per kg of body weight. Two would be the upper limit of grams per kg of body weight to take as protein if you want to avoid kidney problems. Always keep yourself well hydrated with at least a gallon of water a day to keep the kidney working and help flush out excess protein.
