Anything: Could be anything, such as gastritis, ulcers, injuries, or costocondritis, etc. Sx are very non-specific. However, it is prudent to perform an egd especially if abd pain persists. Egd is not a screening test in us. In asia country, egd is encouraged because of high risk of gastric ca there. Good luck.
