Diagnosis correct: The group of symptoms you describe sounds very convincing for gastroesophageal reflux. Omeprazole is usually very effective in treating this. You can take up to 40mg 2 x daily. Make sure you are taking it 1 hour before you eat for max effect. If still not working then you may need further testing eg a camera test.
