Diets weight loss: There are hundreds of diets out there. Many work, many don't. They often don't take into account that people come in different heights, me rights, ages, sexes, races, metabolic rates, exercise levels, have different jobs, and different daily levels of activity. So, the message is, there is no magic pill or perfect diet. Best to seek advice of a dietician and / or md for a specific plan for you.

Calories count: The calories in your total daily intake may help determine if you will lose weight. Being active and increasing your metabolism daily will help. Try not to exceed the amount of calories you need in a day- try to take in about 200-300 less calories a day in order to lose 1/2 to one pound a week.
