Picky eater: You child tripled her birth weight during her first year of life. In order to keep up with that growth she needed the calories and ate a lot. Now she will be putting on 2-5 pounds a year. Consequently she doesnt need so many calories and she becomes choosy or picky in what she eats. Have her"graze" instead of a formal meal.

Picky Eaters: If it happen 'sometimes', that is ok, no forcing! as long as she is eating fruits, vegetable, meat, egg, milk, fish (sometimes) and gaining weight, she will be fine. After 1 year of age, milk need goes down, needs more solid food.
