Interesting question: There is no good or bad time to eat fresh or canned fruit. All common everyday fruit that you buy at the supermarket should be an integral part of your diet. The only caveat is prunes. East too many and you may get loose stools. Eat a few for good nutrition but don't over do it.

Throughout the day: You can eat fruits as snacks several times during the day and even with meals too. It's really important to squeeze in servings of fruits and vegetables, but there isn't per say a specific time that you have to consume them to be beneficial. Often people consume fruits with high fiber content like apples or berries as snacks because the fiber is filling and they offer other great nutrients too.
