Brace: A brace is a more secure way to protect your ankle from re-injury. Eventually taping will be ok but at the beginning it is best to have good support. Taping can be very strong, depending on who does it, but it is not as strong as a good brace. However, it depends on what athletic activity you are doing because the brace will limit your mobility more.
