Scoliosis: Pain may be related to the curve itself, degenerative arthritic changes of the spine, or compression of the spinal cord or nerve roots, and other causes. Best to see an orthopedic surgeon/spine specialist.

Be checked: There can be a number of causes and it may or may not be related to the scoliosis. I would be checked to determine the specific cause of your pain. Patients with scoliosis do not necessarily have to have pain.
