A member asked:

What is bicep tendonitis and can it be caused by impact ? also would that explain instability of the tendon at certain angles?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unhappy Tendon: The long head of the biceps passes through a tunnel into the shoulder. Anything that make the tunnel smaller or tendon bigger, ie swelling from an impact, can make the tendon rub. It stays swollen, it frays, it hurts. Probably not a cause for instability.
