I have had several injections for tendonitis i believe 4 in the last year do you think i might need surgery to repair the tendon?

Possibly: 3 0r 4 injections for tennis elbow(lateral epicondylitis) is about the maximum will do before considering surgery or prp injections.I assume u have failed all other nonoperative treatment.Not sure if u are talking about tennis elbow surgery or another tendon.Most people who ffail non-operative tx. Do well w/surgical debridement.(85-90%).

See details: What tendon are you talking about? The one thing i can say for sure is you should avoid repeated cortisone injection because of their damaging effects on the tendon.
