Depends: Since your injury is 4 months old the need for surgery depends on how much your wrist bothers you. If your pain is infrequent, you may want to wait, but if you have pain every day, it is probably not going to get better without surgery. Surgery can be very helpful, but it often takes 3-4 months to fully recover.
