TFCC tear: . Where you immobilized for any time . Usual initial treatment is immobilization for 4 -6 weeks with removable splint afterward . Is there instability as that portends need for more invasive treatment. Yes: Yes, it is likely that if you tore tfcc 6 months ago and you are still having symptoms surgery would likely be required. If it was going to heal and do well with non surgical care it would already be well. Don't hesitate to be seen for it.
