Could a high dose of depakote or seroquel (quetiapine) make you manic?

Not likely: These drugs are used to treat mania. They do not cause it. There are other medications that could potentially induce a manic episode, including certain antidepressants. The drugs you have asked about are mood stabilizers that are commonly used to treat bipolar disorder.
