A member asked:

Can any doc tell me what's seroquel (quetiapine) and depakote for?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Difference: Seraquel, it is atypical anti psychotic, low potency, high sedation. Much like old thorazine (chlorpromazine). ( halls, delusions .? Mood stabiliser ). Depakote, it is anti seizure med. But we psychiatrists, being brilliant, always find benefits for our patients for example in bipolar, rage reactions, intermittent explosive disorder, and the likes with good results get regular blood work.
