Lasik is a choice: You're young ; your eyes haven't gone thru the natural changes of presbyopia, where you'd use readers for near vision.Your myopia isn't bad ; can be corrected with glasses/cl. However, for people, who don't like wearing glasses/cl may opt to have lasik. Make sure to get a couple of consults to c if it's for you. As your eyes change, you may not need glasses with lasik, but may need readers later.
