Medically based: Go to the internet and punch in balanced diet and lots of sites pop up. The sites that have nutrition and healthy eating tools are best. The mayo clinic, the american heart association have good guidelines. Research multiple sites. Avoid fad diets. A diet with a large range of vegetables is more nutritious than a diet with a large range of fast food.
