Depends: Different schools of thought as to what is considered balance. The best diet is probably the mediterranean diet which consists primarily of vegetables, fruits, beans, nuts, whole grains, a little olive oil and occasional meats and wine. I say choose wild salmon over the meat, avoid the wine if you don't already drink, and you can stay healthy. Avoid all whites: sugar, flour, rice, pasta.
