Call dentist: I don't know what you mean by fake tooth. Is the tooth missing and it's replaced by a bridge or is the tooth covered by a crown? Has the tooth had a root canal? You should call your dentist and tell him about front tooth pain and he will tell you what he thinks is going on.

Ask your Surgeon: Upper or lower? Could be a multiple of things. However it is most likely the nerve sensation that went to the prior tooth where your fake tooth is has been stimulated. This will go away over a short time. If it does not go away, have your dentist look at the area for another problem that is also happening that you were not aware of before.

Puzzle?: What do you mean by fake tooth? Crown? Pontic? Tooth on partial? Rct tooth? Crowned teeth may have nerves and are still attached to live tissue in bone. Rct teeth can be sore where they touch bone. Could be referred pain from other tooth or extraction site. Lot's of possibilities and your dentist can help you figure it out and treat as necessary if you call and have him\her look at it.
