Last wisdom tooth: It is not unusual to have discomfort with a partially erupted wisdom tooth. This is often due to chewing on the gum tissue covering the tooth, plus the tissue is already sore due to the tooth erupting. Have your dentist take a look at the area to suggest an appropriate treatment to alleviate the discomfort. In the meantime, try to avoid direct chewing on the area.

Don't Worry......Yet: As teeth erupt and break through the gums, food, debris and germs can lodge underneath the flap of tissue covering the unerupted tooth,. that could cause an infection called pericoronitis.it needs to be flushed out and cleaned and you should be ok
