May be normal: Sometimes the gums heal into a bump because of the way the stitches were placed. It may be completely normal, but you can mention it to your dentist to have it checked.

Gum tissue: The hard gum tissue may be the healed extraction site. As long as there is no pain, swelling or bleeding, then monitor the situation.
