Itchy, dry skin: All over the body may just be dry skin which can cause intense itching . Scratching will break the skin and may then cause infection. Lotion up, take some histamines and apply otc steroid cream. If no better, go see your doctor.

Go to see MD: You need to see your doctor to get checked. It could be as common as fungal infection vs others. You need to know what it is so you can get the right treatment. Don't delay more.
