Ive had a large patch of red skin on inner thigh near knee with no lumps or bumps of any kind but itches really bad. today i noticed 2 red lines in it. no fever no chills. what coukd it be. ive had for about 5 days now?

Is there any sign of an insect bite? Could it be an allergic reaction to something that came in contact with your thigh? A patch of cellulitis, a bacterial skin infection requiring oral antibiotics, is usually associated with a burning discomfort rather than itching. Try applying a cortisone type ointment. Observe for spreading redness, other rash and if it develops, see a physician
