Intertrigo or Tinea: Where exactly is your rash, between your inner thighs/groin folds area? You can have a yeast (intertrigo) or fungal (tinea) infection. When the skin heals up, it usually results in a darker discoloration. Try a combination of Hydrocortisone over the counter (cortaid) and antifungal cream (clotrimazole, tinactin, (tolnaftate) lamisil) 2x/day for 2 weeks or so. Keep the area clean (gentle cleansing) and dry.
