You're the decider: If significant pathology has been excluded to your satisfaction, and the symptoms are not progressive, worrisome (unaccompanied by alarm signs or distress), and are tolerable, you have the options next of: 1) further testing; 2) symptom-based treatment; 3) watchful waiting; 4) another opinion. Also, did you consider your symptoms may be of non-gastrointestinal origin?
