IBS?: Upper abdominal bloating certainly can be a symptom of IBS. It sounds as though you have had a fairly thorough work up performed. If you're still on sure of the diagnosis, you can always ask for a second opinion from another gastroenterologist or even from a gastroenterologist here on Healthtap, if you have your test results available. Otherwise, you may ask your doctor about treatment of IBS.

IBS Sounds likely: If you have had such a thorough evaluation already, and your local doctor believes you have irritable bowel syndrome and no other explanation has been discovered. In which case I suggest you discuss treatment for IBS with your physician and see if it helps. Best wishes to you!
