Seems unlikely: It seems unlikely that hydrocele or epididymitis could be related to spermatic vein ligation? Hydroceles generally do not cause pain. I would suggest you be examined by a urologist to sort this out.

No, it's just...: Ibuprofen just eases inflammation and lessens pain. But post-varicocelectomy epididymitis and hydrocele may not pose a significant negative impact to your life; then, it's probably worthwhile just to watch and see. But for the ramifying issues after varicocele surgery should be addressed in collaboration with your surgeon and at times seek a second opinion. Best wish...
